Searcy Law Offices welcomes the opportunity to assist businesses in Virginia and the District of Columbia form or restructure as LLCs.
For a flat fee of $550 (plus State filing fees), the firm will form your business and set it on solid legal footing by providing the following essential services: :
- Providing unlimited telephone consultations regarding choice of entity.
- Preparing and filing the Articles required to form your LLC.
- Serving as Registered Agent for the first year (Virginia entities only).
- Providing a Business Start-Up Checklist and Memorandum of Compliance.
- Preparing a customized, basic LLC Operating Agreement to guide your company's operations.
To form your limited liability company, read and complete the attached LLC Questionnaire and Engagement Letter and mail it to the firm with your payment. Within 48 business hours of receiving your questionnaire and payment, we will begin the process of forming your company.
Because the flat fee represents a significant discount from the firm's hourly rate, there is no additional discount for partial services, e.g., if the firm is not going to serve as your Registered Agent or you have formed your business already and just need a customized LLC Operating Agreement, the rate is the same.
In addition to forming your limited liability company, the firm provides an optional start-up package for employers, which includes an employment handbook and a two-hour consultation on employer compliance requirements in D.C. or Virginia. .
